Ready, Set, ...Most of the students in Technology Education have completed their orientation which involves the following. A review of the complete course syllabus including National Educational Technology Standards for students which aligns with the SDPC standards for Technology Literacy. We have also covered standard measurement techniques for engineering, how to use the multimedia software, lab safety, and the selection of their first 10 Unit of Technology Instruction. During the first rotation the learning is slowed by the learning curve of using the Multimedia Software and the completion of 2 critical writing assignments. However, this lays a solid foundation for advancing through the subsequent units. Thank you for reading this far and thank you for this opportunity to work together in your child's Technology Education.
